Fundamental shaping: Begin with a small circle for the face. A little lower on the side, draw a slightly bigger circle to form the upper body.
i. Face: From the middle of the small circle, draw a gentle snout with a dark triangular nose (with soft edges) right in between, forming thin mouth and a soft chin. Pull out some long whiskers from the either side. Draw small, dark buttons like eyes. On the either side of the circle, above the eye level, will be small ears.
ii. Upper body: Draw a slanting line from the middle of the small circle towards the upper end of the big circle to form the neck. From the lower half of the big circle make a thin, short front leg. Just behind the chest curve, pull out another line forming the other front leg.
